Project Manager

Job Summary:
The project manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of development and construction projects. This role involves managing project teams, liaising with clients, overseeing consultants and ensuring that projects meet all regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Prepare and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Team Management:
Lead and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team performance to ensure project objectives are met.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure a cohesive approach.
Client and Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
Gather and incorporate client feedback into the project development process.
Manage expectations and address any concerns or changes requested by clients or stakeholders.
Design and Documentation:
Oversee the development of design concepts and ensure alignment with client requirements and project goals.
Review and approve architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of design and construction.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
Budget and Resource Management:
Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial constraints.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain the best terms.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of any incidents or changes to the project plan.
Project Closeout:
Ensure all project deliverables are completed and meet client expectations.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and capture lessons learned.
Prepare final project reports and documentation for client handover.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a project manager in the architecture, construction, or real estate development industry.
Extensive experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of building standards, and construction practices.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Atlanta, GA.
The role may require travel to project sites and client meetings.
Flexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
